Have you ever loved someone so much

That you find yourself crying tears of joy

At just the thought of them?!

Just thinking about LOVE brings tears to your eyes

Because they are your reference

Makes you feel like you're going insane

When really you're just insanely in love

A Love Letter

Writing you a love letter only scratches the surface

There are no perfect words that can be put to paper

That could ever capture and conceptualize 

The truest meaning that lies within my heart for you

It would only provide you an amateur sketch of an outline

That is missing all of the colors of love that are required

If I were to put words to paper that you could see

Would you then believe in me enough to let me in?

If I allowed the language of my heart to spill out onto the paper

Would you then just relax and throw all caution to the wind?

And protect you from all harm

I promise to love you

With everything in me at all times

And never give you any regrets

I promise to respect you

With all the dignity you deserve

With words of encouragement

I promise to be there for you 

Even when you don't want me to

I promise to make you happy

And do all that I can to keep you in that place

What do you really hear

Words of encouragement

Words of truth, belief

Words of love

Is it a voice

Telling you that everything will be okay

Everything will be fine

Be patient.

Is it crying from the pain

That was inflicted upon it

From the hurts and disappointments

Laid on it by the heartless

Those less of heart who only care about themselves

Is it screaming for help to mend

Begging to be healed by a loving touch

A golden touch

That is filled with love, warmth, peace

Warming the soul

Healing the heart

Allowing one to…

Exhale.

When the heart speaks

Can it shout from within

Claiming love has been found again

Security of love in the arms of another

A new beginning

A new breath of life

Able to exhale

Able to smile

Whenever I am with you

It’s like the time just flies by

I need time to stand still

Long enough for me to love you for eternity

An eternity of infinite possibilities

Wishing for days to just be with you

To lay with you without a thought to the time

Not a care in the world

Not any place to be…just lay with you

Holding me tightly in your arms

Your arms protecting us from it all

Preventing anyone from coming between us.

Whenever I am with you

Everything is okay

There is nothing I can’t do

Your love gives me eternal bliss

Gives me internal rejuvenation

Offering me my own revelation of what

Infinite love looks like

Praying for more days

Hoping for more time

Anticipating another day

On my way to the 9 to 5

Thinking of a poem to pen

Into existence

Influenced by the rain drops

That fall upon me

Thinking of the direction to let my

Imagination flow

Or should I just follow

Wherever the moment takes me

Waiting for the creativity to take hold

And guide me into the abyss

That encompasses my mind, my heart, and my soul
